Willesden My long lost great grandfather HARRY FRASER

I desperately want to find out what happened to my great grandfather, Harry Fraser. I know he was married in 1919 to Martha Hilda Woods and they lived at 192 Church Road. I know that they divorced somewhere around 1928 and Martha (preferred name was Hilda) went on to marry Ernest Ellett and moved away. But Harry... I only know a few things that may help someone to help me... he was a soldier and had also been on the stage (also one time with Hilda). His father was also known as Harry. He was possibly born in 1892. I just noticed that there is a Harry Fraser listed in the electoral roll for Willesden in 1935! It says he was at 16 Talbot Road. Is that him? I hate to think that he just got forgotten, lost in time. No one seems to be researching him. DId he remarry? When did he die? Does anyone know anything that could help me, pleeease?

Willesden Former Drinkwater employee

Hi all
Finding this thread brought back fond memories of working at Drinkwaters in Neasden for a short spell during the late 60's. I worked as a young costing/wages clerk in Fred Cooper's office. Silvia Wharton (Arthur's wife) was the office manager if I remember correctly. She was a real character of a woman, glamorous, intelligent, with a real presence and a good sense of humour etc.
Sadly, I ending up getting fired ! being young and what with partying it up etc, getting to work on time became a bit of a problem. But that was all part of growing up, we do live and learn - eventually !
It was one of the best employers I had during my time in the "big smoke" having moved down from Scotland.
