Register with Morum House Surgery, Bounds Green Rd (2min from Wood Green station, opposite the church) instead. It's worth the 10min walk (if you don't want to use public transport) Last year's national ratings etc for NHS services in England placed this surgery into one of the top brackets... the only one around here that made the grade! Another bonus: they have so many different GPs, if you don't like one of them, just see another one you like better ;) Most of the other surgeries around here only have one or 2 doctors. First of all Haringey does not give 'bonuses' to its parking attendents, no its more issue 'X' number of tickets or else - Which is why so many give so many tickets. I used to work in parking there (not as a parking attendent) and can give some advice. First of all they make it really easy to get a ticket. The signs often are misleading, yet fall within the law. The best cases are 'Pay & Display OR Resident or Visitor Parking' You think to yourself, if I only have to pay & display until 6.30pm then after this time I dont have to pay? Umm no the small sign ont eh P&D machine will tell you after 6.30pm only resident permit holders or visitor voucher holders can park. Yet the street side signs fail to say this. Result - Loads of fines to people. So remember this. PS the machines take your money after 6.30pm example yuo pay for two hours parking at 5pm yet at 6.30pm even though ur ticket is valid, the zone has stopped for it to be used, you g Post reply -->London Wood Green 17 Mar ^ Wood Green Dogdy Traffic Wardens do exist! Bonus or no bonus.Caught one trying to ticket my motor in Tottenham's Park Lane the other night around 10, my car was parked on private land that I'm partly responsible for!! Tells me "You can't park here, this a footpath" I say "no it isn't it's private land I know difference between the two, and I am not illegally parked, nobody ever gets booked for parking on here, perfectly legal, even on a Tottenham Hotspur match day! At this point he puts away his hand-held whatever the hell it is, and tells me I'm not getting a ticket and walks off saying he doesn't want an argument, even though it's ok to park there, I won't be parking there again if wardens like that exist....no wonder people hate them!!! Post reply -->London Wood Green Jason 2 Dec ^ Wood Green Bogus wardens do exist.Caught warden about to book me on private land that I'm responsible for....You can even park on it when Spurs are playing a match day....when he realised his game was up, he tells me I won't be getting a ticket after all and that he doesn't want an argument, I won't be parking there again if attendant are trying dirty tricks like that.
