Really interesting to read through some of your comments. I was born in and lived at 18 Yuletide Road (surname of Johnson) I remember the Church Road shops, Wheatlands, off-licence, Cinema. Do you remember Kersways tobacconists, the little barber shop in Curzon Crescent across from the Post Office. Does anyone remember Rees grocery shop in Berry Street, Cartwrights near the alley in Holly Lane, PArkers Greengrocers on the corner of Yuletide and Taylors Lane and on the other corner Masons or Everetts the butchers? Also Skinners and Boons or Meads sweetshops and Pat's cycles. My husband (surname of Cater) lived above Pets Corner on the corner of Mayo Road and Church Road. His Uncle Bill (or big Bill as he was a rather large man) owned the shop. Like to hear from anyone who remembers Yuletide Road and surrounding areas as they were before it was all changed. Mail-me Post reply -->London Willesden Terri 5 Aug ^ Willesden I REMEMBERI lived at 18 Taylors Lane since I was born 1941- 1959. As a schoolboy I delivered groceries for Parker's on Saturday mornings. Got paid a shilling an hour. I bought my sweets at the shop known as Skinners. I believe the shop keepers name was Harris and hated people calling him Mr Skinner. I don't seem to know you. When did you live there?
