We don't currently live in the area and was wondering what it was like. It didn't take long to walk to the shops of Gipsy Hill but the street is quite a mixture of different types of housing with an estate at one end so wondering if its safe - the usual thing! If anyone can provide anymore info that would be great! They run gardening clubs and teach people how to garden. I met this charity at the Lambeth Country show, I think 2 years ago. I remember them telling me that they were based in West Norwood. There is also yoga etc. at the Brockwell Lido. There is a council gym near Streatham Common but this may be about to be knocked down to make way for the new huge Tesco. There is a big centre in Brixton near the rail station.
