Tower Hill Buying in E1, an ex- council 3 bed flat  

Hi
I am considering buying this property. Don't really know the area. It is nesr Cable Street and Bishop Challoner's Girl's School. It is about 7 mins from St. Katherine's Dock but do ex-council places re-sell? I won't want to sell for 3-5 years and although it needs work I'm OK with that. What about crime etc... Any info about anything appreciated. Cheers.

Tower Hill This Is what i think of Towerhill  

I think that Towerhill is a clean and safe area. It is a little congested due to it being near to the city.

I live in St Katherines Docks which is very quiet and peaceful with stunning views.

It has lovely views and at £665 is not a bad price (although its always better to be able to pay less!)

There is a good sports facility nearby called fitness exchange which has a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room.

There is also a good GP just around the corner.

The transport is good there are always plenty of busses around, and circle, central, district, hammersmith and city lines are all very accessible.

There are always loads of friendly black cab drivers around although cos its the city they do try and rip you off, and go the long way round bastards! Oh and hold on tight as you know they do seem to drive a bit fast.

Tower Hill Sports clubs near Tower Hill/Algate  

Hi,
Does anyone know some good sports clubs to join in the area? Ideally I would like to join a team (ie football, netball etc) or kickboxing classes or even a kind of dance class.

Tower Hill SPORTS CENTRES TOWER HILL  

There is a big public pool - St Georges on the Highway that is good and the John Orwell Sports Centre off the High Street, Wapping.

Just off from T H station is a Holmes place gym with pool.

Brilliant!
