Their name is Apicella and the family ran a cafe called The Enterprise at 210 Walworth Road. My father had the business next door at 208 called Pastimes Radio & Television. Norwood Up and coming South NorwoodSouth Norwood is definately the next property hotspot. The tube is coming in 3yrs, Crystal Palace and Gipsy Hill are overpriced and it has loads of potential. I am really happy living in this area and have been surprised at how safe it feels. I bought my house at a very reasonable price. Norwood Upper Norwood PubsThe White Hart in Upper Norwood/ Crystal Palace has recently been refurbished and is funky and chilled out with friendly staff, good food and cool music. Its an older crowd that drink there which is welcomed in Crystal Palace. I will go as far as to say its my favourite drinking spot in Upper Norwood. Trains from Norwood Junction to London bridge are usually quite busy especially at about 08:00. Trains to Victoria are pretty good, you're guaranteed a seat, though the train gets more packed as you journey to Clapham Junction where most people get off. You're guaranteed a seat towards Croydon too. There are many of them (about 6 per hour)and I usually get a seat. The fast train only takes 13 minutes as well. I find it a really good service. There is a problem with graffitti, like a lot of areas but the council do try and remove it as soon as it appears. Its a good area to live in for public transport. There are a couple of parks in the area that can be used to escape from the busy roads. Its not a bad area though there is an element of drug abuse that is sometimes visible. An increasing number of ethnics: so very cosmopolitan. Quite a number of varying food places. The up and coming tube line some time in the future will add to the area!
