Post reply -->London Kilburn Richard 3 Mar ^ KilburnFrom what I gather, West Kilburn (which lies South West of the High Road) is a bit dodgy, and perhaps some of Kilburn Park too. I don't mean to be disrespectful though, it's just what I've heard, and when visiting the area it did seem a little that way. Further up the High Road is cool and vibrant, there are some very characterful properties e.g. Brondesbury Villas and up towards and around the station too. In fact I am close to putting in an offer on a flat near there, and have a friend just up the road who really loves Kilburn. Maida Vale seems cute, the bit near the tube. Don't know it all that well. When I went the other day to have a look I asked a few persons about the area, (girls with babies and guys), everybody told me that was really nice to live there, that never ever thay had any problem... The house is 5 min walking from queens park underground and 8 from the park. I live in Fulham, so I was a little affraid about what I was going to find and surprisingly the area looks nice, cute streets and beautiful houses. I would like to know how really is the area, the street we are looking to buy in and everything you can tell me. Thanks! Post reply -->London Kilburn Tom 14 Feb Kilburn THINKING OF MOVING TO MAYGROVE ROAD KILBURN?Hello, Im am thinking of moving to Maygrove Road in Kilburn, 2mins from Kilburn Tube and I was hoping anyone could tell me about how safe the area is, Im a female in my 20's and currently live in the country so am free and comfortable wandering around on my own in the evening etc... Would I be safe walking home after the pub. Is it a nice area or do you think I would regret leaving beautiful country side and all my friends... Im so stumped because the property I have found is beautiful and I would save £200 a month by not commuting but I would leave my friends and the country which I love... Any advice would be much appreciated...
