I think from Heathrow the easiest would be to get on the piccadilly line and get off at Hammersmith. From there Shepherd's Bush is about a 20 min walk or a 5 min bus ride - not far at all. The Empire is on the Shepherd's Bush Green. If you look on any map website you should see the route from Hammersmith to SB. Post reply -->London Hammersmith London 23 Jan ^ Hammersmith Shepherds Bush - from GlasgowThe advice for Heathrow is good, but you can still get to Shepherd's Bush easily from other airports or main line stations if you manage to get a good advance-booking deal. From Luton or Stansted Airports you can get a coach to Marble Arch, then the Central Line to Shepherd's Bush from there. Alternatively you can catch a train into Liverpool Street from Stansted and take the Hammersmith & City Line to Goldhawk Road. If you come by train, you will probably go with Virgin to London Euston. From there it is a short walk to Euston Square Underground for the Hammersmith & City Line to Goldhawk Road. If you use GNER to Kings Cross, the Hammersmith & City Line stops there too. Call Transport for London enquiries (020 7222 1234) if you need more information, and don't be afraid to ask Underground staff or even fellow passengers for directions. We're not all as unfriendly and unhelpful as our reputation!
