However, one question I have is what is the commute like from Maze Hill to London Bridge in the mornings from about 08:15 am onwards? Is it easy to get on the trains? Is the service reliable? I notice that a lot of trains on that line come from the Dartford area so am wondering if they get quite full. Thanks for any info! Post reply -->London Greenwich Brenda Powley 15 Aug Greenwich lost camera in August 2006I understand that this could be useless as time as passed considerably but at the time I had no access to a computer. I lost it soon after entering Greenwich on a ferry as I walked around the outside of the cutte sark, it had fallen out of my pram. The camera was very cheap, it had no leads with it and the battery was very nearly going. The camera is not important to me, it is the pictures on it that are as they are of my little boy when he was 2. Pictures were stored on the memory card. I was in tears when I lost it and it still saddens me now when I think about all the pictures I have lost. thank you Mail-me Post reply -->London Greenwich michelle 15 Aug Greenwich Where can we eat well, but not too expensively, late lunch...Looking for a good but inexpensive place to eat somewhere within easy reach of the 02 Any ideas, please Post reply -->London Greenwich Anne106 1 Aug Greenwich Free Shipping Cartons and Wrapping MaterialsI have just moved to Greenwich and now have some fifty used shipping cartons and associated packing materials to dispose of. Where you can enjoy a good night out with friends and family. Without all the trouble caused by under age drinkers and those that cannot hold there alcohol who spoilt if for others. If not it may be something some Landlords, Pub Managers and Brewery's should seriously think about in the very near future. Perhaps for meeting for a coffee every now and again or going to a gallery etc. Mail-me Post reply -->London Greenwich Hannah 24 Jun Greenwich O2 ArenaHi, I'm staying at the Docklands Travelodge over the weekend, going to see Neil Diamond at the O2 on Monday night and want to cross the river! Gather you can't walk through the Blackwall Tunnel, does anyone know the easiest way to get there and back? Post reply -->London Greenwich Pip 19 Jun ^ GreenwichYes, bus 108. You pick it up from the bus stop on the Tunnel Approach Road just before it enters the Tunnel and it will take you straight to north Greenwich Station for the Arena. Fare is £2 each way although if you have a valid Travelcard you can use the bus for free. Buses run about every 10 minutes, reducing to 15 minutes after about 8pm. Thank you Post reply -->London Greenwich John 13 Jun ^ GreenwichThere is a very helpful place on Old Dover Road, at Blackheath Standard (cant remember the name). Post reply -->London Greenwich 19 Jun Greenwich Route 386We are asking Transport for London Buses to increase the Monday to Saturday evening and Sunday service on route 386 from every 30 minutes to at least every 20 minutes (3 buses every hour) with later last journeys on all nights of the week. Route 386 operates between Blackheath Village (Royal Parade) and Woolwich via Greenwich Town Centre including Greenwich and Cutty Sark DLR Stations and Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Route 386 provides some vital links not served by other bus routes in the area. Post reply -->London Greenwich Julian Russell 10 Jun Greenwich Bus ServiceWe hope with the opening of the new DLR Station at Woolwich Arsenal Station early next year. We hope bus services serving Woolwich from the Greenwich area will gain new improved frequencies with later buses on some routes. We are also asking for an improved Monday to Saturday evening and Sunday service on route 386 Woolwich to Blackheath Village (Royal Parade) via Greenwich Town Centre including the Greenwich and Cutty Sark DLR Stations and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. We are hoping the evening and Sunday service will be increased from every 30 minutes to at least every 20 minutes (3 buses every hour) with later last journeys on all nights of the week.
