Post or Ask something here in 'Finsbury Park' Finsbury Park Anyone wonder what they do with the parking money?I have holes in my road, there is rubbish everywhere and in general the place is a mess yet I pay 75 a month council tax and some of us pay 95 a year to park - I am in the process of raising a campaign to demand that the council tell us where the money is going and why is the area still looking like a war zone? Anyone care to join in or comment - by the way, I intend to run for Councillor at some point if I stay here so any problems write to me..... Post reply -->London Finsbury Park 27 Oct ^ Finsbury ParkYour best bet is to get the bus 29 or 253 into Camden from Finsbury Park where there is a shop at the top end of Camden High Street which does fancy dress hire and has a good selection of amusing accessories. Carry on down Camden High Street past Mornington Crescent and down the Hampstead Road and you will find the famous Lawrence Corner which does army surplus stuff and is great for hats. Of course, Camden Market is one big fancy dress party. There is also Preposterous Presents on Upper Street in Islington (near Highbury tube) which will do you a mask or moustache or hat. However, your most wonderful opportunity is far nearer at hand - Stroud Green Road is home to an incredible selection of wig shops. There is nothing like putting on a wierd bright red wig to transform your personality and always a great hit at parties.
