The hall in my flat in Anerley has quite high ceilings and has been stripped down to the plaster, but I don't have the time to finish the job, and paint it. Lots of Dulwich Village types go there but it is a good salon. Not many if any evening appts, not open Sundays and only take cheque/cash, no cards but my mum goes there and i used to go there for colour. They're really friendly. I have found it a safe, friendly environment with a strong sense of community. Farquar / Jasper Roads are well located for the Triangle and Gipsy Hill Stn. If you move I dont think you'll regret it... In fact I convinced other friends to move to the area and they are also very happy - it looks green and leafy and nice, and it is! It doesnt even have a supermarket like Tescos or Sainsburys just a few small corner shops that takes advantage of there being no supermarket. The transport takes ages into town and the nightbus is *****, taxi from town is robbery. It does have its rough parts too, my girlfriend was mugged in our last week of living here. My advice for an extra bit of money get somewhere younger, more buzzing and on the tube.
