There are many hidden gems, merton abbey mills market which is a little mini camden on the river wandel, reab pizza place is great for pizza. There is a nature walk to a national trust park and farm. Great hairdressers Honey Boo and beauty salon - Glow, good pubs, THe Sultan won pub of the year in TimeOut two years ago, The Tup is fun too and the The William Morris on the river is fab. There is a really nice community feel and its safe. If you can get past the tower then you will love it. The houses are beautiful Edwardian properties and there are also Villas...... It is starting to attract a music crowd and did you know that there is a festival every year that previews the Edinburgh Fringe Festival acts. Apparantely there is also going to a gig venue opening up at merton Abbey and Sienna Miller was seen shopping at the market recently. Post reply -->London Colliers Wood Oliver Pails 31 May Colliers Wood Private Nursery in Colliers Wood High StreetHi, Does anyone know what is happening to the old nursery in collier's wood high street? It use to be called Cosmopolitan and that shut down and it looked like it was being reopened and a new sign even appeared 'Rainbow Village' and has a contact number on it but it just rings out. I have been told that this nursery is now not opening under this name and there is rumours that other groups are after the grounds for other causes. As a mum of 2 living in Collier's Wood I think it is a shame if this is not a nursery as there are not many in the area and this one is so near the station in a good location. Any information is much appreciated.
