I think that with a little more care, Islington could have a real 'Jewel in the Crown' here. I think that most people are friendly enough and that it is fairly protected by distance from undesirables. It is on a main road, so that brings its own issues and there are a lot of people that leave the area and their rubbish behind at the end of the day. I wish there were a few more shops here that grounded the neighbourhood but otherwise it's pretty good. It does look tatty quite quickly but I would hope the Council will do something about that, I would also like to see a "Finsbury" residents group that would define the boundaries of the area and care for it.
