I'll be driving so will need to get from Clapham onto the A3 - does anyone do this journey? Would it be better to move to Clapham Common or Clapham Junction in terms of traffic getting onto the A3 in the morning? In my opinion Clapham junction would be better than the Common as there are several main roads coming off of the common eg A24 and you'd also have to travel over the Northcote road, which is full of buses in the morning. Either way, I think you'll face lots of traffic when you get to Wandsworth and the fork between the A3 and Upper Richmond Road. I have been stuck in traffic here many times.
