I never go by what people say about an area, because usually its very different when you actually live there. I would, however be wary moving to Camden as a young female on your own. I am a 17 year old girl, my flatmate is 21, and do have to admit I feel very vunerable when alone in my flat. In fact, before we even moved in, our door (which has graffitti all over it) was kicked in, even when the flat was empty. Some parts of camden are lovely, but others I'd say you need a man in the house. Post reply -->London Camden Sarah 19 Jan ^ Camden DONI've lived here for 15 or so years - since I was your age. I'm female, cycle to and from work every day and it's fine - except for some problems with kids in Somers Town. The only problem with running is that, unless you live near the heath or Regent's Park it's not that easy an area in which to run (purely because of busy roads) but if you're happy to run along in an urban area you will be fine. I'm moving to another borough next week because I now have a child and need more space. I will certainly miss the place.... I am a British Bangladeshi and I've lived in Chalk Farm for 15 years and theres been no raciest remark or rudeness from anyone. I am not so sure about Queens Cresent though. If you'd like to get to know the better bits/pubs with the nice locals give me a shout.
