Post or Ask something here in 'Brockley' Brockley Dance Rehearsal Space (Cheap!)Hi, does anyone know of a space in SE4 where we could practice every week for 2 hours? Only 6 of us so space doesnt need to be huge, doesnt need to be fancy studio either, can be church, community hall, room etc. just somewhere clean & tidy with an OK floor. + reasonable hourly/evening price as don't have loads of money available to pay for practice space. Also not somewhere residential as we use CD.sometimes drum so can't be a place where neighbours complain about noise/music. Would need on Thursday evenings, & daytime hours on occasion. If anyone can help would be grateful, thanks. Post reply -->London Brockley Lana 26 Aug Brockley choose your dry cleaner wisely!I had a terrible experience with the Crofton Park Dry Cleaners (the ones next to the coop not to be confused with Starlight across the road which I have never used). I had a dress and a skirt (Burberry and Karen Millen) completely ruined by them. The skirt was in tatters when it was returned and the dress which was lace was shrunk and damaged. By law they are required to carry our their service with reasonable care and skill. Failing to do so, they are required to compensate. When I confronted them about the damaged clothes they were rude and aggressive and completely dishonest. I obtained letters from the stores to demonstrate replacement cost. They shouted at me, threw the letters out of the door and would not even have a decent conversation with me. They did not even refund the dry cleaning charges! I was quite upset by the experience.
