Bow Bow is a hidden gemBow is quiet and leafy yet is a stones throw from all the fun of Brick Lane, Old Street, London Fields etc. Its 15 mins on the central line to Oxford Circus so its more central than people might realise. Its a really friendly place, some of London's remaining eastenders live here! Victoria and Mile End parks as well as the canal are on its doorstep. Bow I feel safe living in BowI've lived in Bow (in the Bow Quarter) for about 1 1/2 years now and haven't really ever gotten nervous about the area. It is admittedly a bit rougher than, say, Kensington or Notting Hill, at least on the surface, but that's true of most of London. I often come home quite late and am not at all worried, though I'm only 5'3 and 7 stone. That said, I lived in New York City for 7 years, and in other areas of London as well, so I'm very urban. Bow looks like a convenient and interesting place to live but I would really like to get some feedback from some locals. Both the dentist (Mark) and the hygienist are very professional. I have had a lot of dental treatment and i find them to be the best in terms of quality.
