Bloomsbury Best Location in LondonI've lived in Bloomsbury for about a year now and it has to be the optimum location to live in London. 5 minutes walk north, you've got Regents Park, great for a jog, and with the most fantastic public tennis courts I've seen. 5 minutes walk south and you have the delights of Soho, Oxford Street and of course Covent Garden with the best shopping in London. I live off TCR and have (large) Tesco, Marks' and Sainsbury's supermarkets within a 100 metre radius. Yet at the same time, its extremely safe at night, and quiet around where I live. Travel links can't be beat (in walking distant of 6 tube stations), though I tend to walk everywhere because London isn't as big as you think. Save heaps of money doing this (even walk home from London's top clubs - big saver!). Only issue is that accommodation rarely comes on the market (who'd want to leave?!) So, take my advice and go central (if you can)!
