There are plenty of Bars, Restaurants, Shops, as well as Cinema etc. It’s 1 stop to Kings Cross, a few mins to Leicester Square and close to most Mainline Stations. Sorry I can't be more specific. Highbury Pool is at the other end of Upper Street and has a gym too. It also has underground parking, 24 hour security, amazing architecture, a tastefully designed coop on the ground floor and constant events for the residence. Highbury Pool, although privately run by Aquaterra, is a public access gym. They have a number of memberships to suit your budget and your gym vists, i.e Pay as You Go. The Gym is small and gets busy during peak periods. It also has a pool and sauna, and sun booth facilities. I find it very relaxed and well run with well trained helpful staff. http://www.aquaterra.org/Islington/Highbury/ In Angel itself, theres a Virgin Gym and Fitness First on City Road. To be honest I would rather cycle along the canel (also outside The Gainsborough Studios!) They do great classes too and a really good induction for beginners. Im not sure how much membership is but im sure its cheap, i pay £5 per class. Post reply -->London Angel George 7 Jul ^ AngelYou might want to check out the Fitness First and Virgin gyms on city road (come out of Angel tube, turn left walk to the traffic lights, turn left and that's Citty Road - Virgin gym in on the right, Fitness First is a short walk down the road on the left). Both are excellent, and occasionalyl have membership deals on. Averga price I think is around £45-ish. TIA :) Mail-me Post reply -->London Angel area safetyJames 11 Aug ^ AngelI'm also looking to move to that area, but I think you'll find Angel is pricey - Falt share could be anything from 500-1000 / M close to Angel Tube whereas further west down Copenhagen St, Barnsbury and towards old street and Hoxton you can find more reasonable flat shares at 400-600/m or 2 bed flats for 800-1000 /m. This however may be in your typical council falt but don't be fooled! Some of these are rising in price as they're now purchased and offer low cost good transport retro 506070s flats!!
