Double Rooms are on average in between £ 450 -650 excluding bills and Council tax. Cheaper areas (but not so much cheaper) nearby are Holloway , Finsbury Park (I find it a bit dodgy tho) and Stoke Newington. Beware that the latter doesn't have a tube ....
