Acton Cycling in Ealing and ActonBeware for there are crazy mothers on the school run who like to shout abuse at perfectly good cyclists! What kind of example are they setting to their children, shouting and swearing within earshot of children? I would also like to note that, it is particularly dangerous for cyclists to cycle on the far left of the road, i.e. the gutter. They are directly in the path of parked cars and opening doors and, not to mention, the blind spot of most drivers. So please, please, please refrain from yelling at cyclists and telling them to move over to the left. This is not helpful to anyone! Just nicely take over when you have the space and opportunity to do so. I would also like to not that the speed limit on many roads is 20 or 30mph, so it is unacceptable for motorists to do anything above the speed limit of the road just because they feel they can!
