Travel Watford Junction to Edgware

For the person who enquired about a bus (I can't find your post): There is a direct bus between Watford Junction and Edgware, the 142. It runs at regular intervals every day of the week.

Travel HELP!!! WHAT IS BEST WAY TO GET TO & FROM O2 ARENA FROM HEATHROW

My daughter and I will be going to see Kylie at 02 but we are staying at hotel near to Heathrow as we have early flights. What is the best way of getting to the arena from LHR area? And approximately how long should it take?
Thanks a lot for your help everyone;-)

Travel Heathrow to O2

If you are staying at a hotel, you will probably need to use Hatton Cross or Hounslow West Underground stations (you may need to use a local bus to get to them - your hotel will be able to advise). Take the Piccadilly Line to Green Park, change there to the eastbound Jubilee Line which will take you to North Greenwich for the O2. It's quite a way so allow a good hour-and-a-half. Buy an all-zones Travelcard to cover the journey.

An alternative is to get a bus into Heathrow Central, take the Heathrow Express to Paddington, the Undergound Bakerloo Line to Baker Street then the Jubilee Line to North Greenwich. This route will be slightly quicker but much more expensive as Travelcards are not valid on Heathrow Express.

Travel Benfleet to Great Yarmouth

Start by getting the c2c train from Benfleet to London Fenchurch Street, trains run at regular intervals. From Fenchurch Street take the Circle Line eastbound from nearby Tower Hill station (follow the signs) to Liverpool Street. From Liverpool Street take the train to Norwich, from where regular trains run to Great Yarmouth. You can buy a through ticket from Benfleet to Great Yarmouth which includes the underground connection. Google the Trainline to get fares & times.

Travel HELP !! I NEED TO GET TO OXFORD

hi , i need to get to oxford, and i live in benfleet. how do i get there? .....

Post reply -->London Travel rebecca 17 Jul

^

Travel Benfleet to Oxford

To start with, you need to get the c2c train from Benfleet to London St. Pancras. Then take the Underground Circle Line to Paddington. First Great Western run regular fast trains to Oxford (most stop only at Reading, and occasionally Slough) so make sure you get one of those and not a stopping train which takes ages. You can buy a through ticket from Benfleet to Oxford which will include travel on the Underground across London. Contact c2c if you want more information.

How long does it take to get from Waterloo to St. Pancras Euro Star by tube

Post reply -->London Travel Jackie 17 Jul

^

Travel Waterloo to St Pancras

You should be able to do it in about 20 minutes, but allow longer if you have a specific train to catch. Also if you're travelling Eurostar don't forget you have to check in at least 30 minutes before departure.

Travel stansted to leytonstone

can you please tell me how long it takes from london stansted airport to leytonstone london and the easiest way?  Mail-me

Post reply -->London Travel aneeka 9 Jul

Travel Stansted Airport to Leytonstone

The easiest way is to catch the National Express A9 coach from Stansted Airport to Stratford (every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day), which takes about 45 minutes. From Stratford you can get the Underground (Central Line) to Leytonstone in about 10 minutes, or the 257 bus.

Post reply -->London Travel Christine 7 Jul

Travel Richmond to Vauxhall

You can do the journey direct, not by Underground but on South West Trains. There are six trains an hour and the journey takes between 16 and 22 minutes. For timetable and fare information Google South West Trains.

Travel From Paddington to Westminster

How long would it take me to go from Paddington to Westminster on the underground at 9am?  Mail-me

Post reply -->London Travel Christine 7 Jul

^

Travel Paddington to Westminster

This journey by Underground takes 18 minutes on the Circle Line; trains run about every 8 minutes but allow a little longer if needed as there are often delays on the Circle. An alternative is to take the Bakerloo Line to Baker Street and cross to the adjacent platform for the Jubilee Line.

There isn't a station called "Kings College".

Do you mean Kings College which is in Aldwych (59 bus direct)?

Or Kings College Hospital which is in Camberwell (take the Victoria Line to Victoria then a train from the mainline station to Denmark Hill)?

Travel O2 by bus

Route 188 runs from Russell Square via Holborn Station, Aldwych and Waterloo direct to North Greenwich Station, which is adjacent to the O2 Arena.

Alternatively, all the Jubilee Line Stations between Westminster and Stratford are fully accessible, with lifts to and from platform level.

Travel Would like to know, how long it would take from London Cuty Airport, to get th The London Metal Exchange

Post reply -->London Travel Beverley,thompson@trafigura.co 24 Jun

^

Travel London City Airport to London Metal Exchange

The London Metal Exchange is at 56 Leadenhall Street, close to Aldgate. To get there, take a DLR (Docklands Light Railway) train from City Airport to Westferry, alight there and wait on the same platform for a train to Tower Gateway*. This should take about 25-30 minutes in total. It is then a five minute walk, head up Minories to Aldgate then left, and then the right hand fork which is Leadenhall Street.

* Note: Tower Gateway closes from Saturday 28th June for rebuilding, your best bet then is to get off the DLR at Limehouse and go to the Station next door for a train into Fenchurch Street.

what train station do i go from to get to lego land in windsor. I live in east london?

Post reply -->London Travel 23 Jun

Travel LegoLand

The nearest stations to LegoLand are Windsor & Eton Central (trains from Paddington, change at Slough) or Windsor & Eton Riverside (trains from Waterloo, direct). Shuttle buses run to LegoLand from both stations.

It is worth checking the LegoLand website as you may be able to get a through ticket which includes train travel, the shuttle bus and admission to LegoLand.
