^ Deaf BSLHi, Jo. I just moved to SE London, so not that near to you, but i have found a deaf club in Bromley, It's on Friday night's once a month. I havn't managed to get there yet as i have been moving etc but will be going in the future. I just finished 2nd year BSL level 2. Mail-me Post reply -->London Deaf Jasmin 17 Jul Deaf Deafened and learning BSLI have been deafened and a hearing aid wearer for most of my life. I am about to start pre-level 2 BSL and would like to join a club and/or meet with people in a similar situation in or near Greenwich. I operate largely in the hearing world but often feel isolated and unable to communicate as I would wish in social situations where there is a lot of noise. Hearing people do not understand and there is a limit to how many times I feel comfortable asking people to repeat what they have said. I am very anxious to improve my signing skills and would love to meet with either hearing people who are learning BSL or deaf people who would be tolerant of my limited signing skills! I would love to be able to sign fluently; it is such an expressive and positive language! Annette Post reply -->London Deaf 29 May ^ Deaf Hi AnnetteI just saw your post. I have just moved to SE London. I just finished Level 2 Bsl, Waiting for my results, cross your fingers for me! I am looking to make friends, i don't know anyone here, and i would love the opportunity to keep signing. Contact me if you want to talk more and possibly meet for coffee.
