Book Clubs Hampstead Book Club Meet Up: Tues 5th Sept

Would you like to join a bookclub? We've been meeting at the Flask pub in Hampstead for the past 11 years. We welcome new people and we meet first Tuesday of every month in the public bar at the Flask from 7pm. Usually about 8/9 of us turn up in any one month.

We read a variety of books from thrillers to classic novels. Our next book to discuss is "Northanger Abbey" by Val McDermid. If you've read the book (or part), please do join us. We would also love to see you if you want to drop in for a chat and a drink if you prefer.

We are a mixed group in ages and gender, and a friendly, informal bunch. When you enter the public bar we are immediately to your left of the door.

Email  Mail-me  for more info

Hello,
I run a book club that meets in Crouch End once a month - normally in a local pub for a few drinks and a chat, sometimes out to the cinema or for a meal. Everyone in the book club has their turn to choose a book meaning we get to read a lovely variety. It's a really chilled out friendly atmosphere. Book Clubs English speaking users for early APP testing

We are looking for early APP users to provide language service, help us collect feedback, recruit new users, provide marketing content, & ensure our APP's user experience.

We have lots of Chinese students who are keen to learn English and we are looking for native or fluent speakers to help them.
The app is currently in Beta testing which is why we are directly paying our teachers for the first month. After that you will be able to set your own price per hour and log in to the app when you are available to talk.

The testing period will last 4 weeks and you can choose when and for how long you want to be online to take requests. The chinese students will connect to get help with conversational practice, pronunciation or any other learning enquiries they may have.

It is a great way to connect with Chinese students based in China and an easy way to make a bit of extra cash.

Book Clubs brand spanky new fun book club!!!

Okay so i live in North London, im 26 and I have been trying to find a book club to attend, now i'm not talking your average book club something a bit more fun, some racier novels and a little more wine to discuss it over but so far nothing so I have decided perhaps I should try to organise my own, which leads me here ha

So if there are any ladies who are interested in arrannging something please come forward....I know nothing about how to organise this or what novels to read so it will be group decision and input welcome but yeah if you fancy meeting some new people, reading some books and having a few drinks feel free to contact me.
